Can't hear me calling them to 'leave it!' or 'come inside!', but they can hear someone biting into an apple from the opposite end of the house.

It is great that I found a toy that I can get her to run with.  But she has an unfortunate tendency to *crunch* it as she runs back.  2 Frisbees have now given their lives.  And she won't play with the soft rubber Kong one.
